SUMMARY:Mukuru Shujaa - Talent\, Sports & Community Giving Festival 2026
DESCRIPTION:On 25 October 2026\, Mukuru Shujaa invites families\, community members\, donors\, businesses and development partners to join us at the Mukuru Community Center for our Community Festival\, where our young girls will take part in activities celebrating their talent\, confidence and potential. \nThe festival is an opportunity to see what becomes possible when girls are given room to play\, participate and shine. It is also an invitation to move from awareness to action. \nWe are calling on partners and supporters to help us make this celebration meaningful and to strengthen the work that continues beyond the event. \nHere is how you can plug in: \n\nSponsor the festival: Help us create an inclusive\, safe and memorable experience for the children participating.\nSupport girls’ participation in sport: Contribute footballs\, training equipment\, sports kits and other resources that help girls access regular play and development opportunities.\nInvest in learning and mentorship: Partner with us to strengthen programmes that nurture confidence\, leadership\, life skills and continued engagement with education.\nBecome a programme partner: Explore longer-term collaboration with Mukuru Shujaa to support child wellbeing\, girls’ empowerment and community-led development.\nUse your voice and networks: Share this message\, bring others to the festival and help build community support for ending child marriage and protecting every child’s right to a childhood.\n\nWhether you are an individual donor\, a corporate organisation\, a foundation or a development partner\, your contribution can help strengthen opportunities for girls. \nWe welcome partners who are ready to work with communities\, listen to children’s needs and invest in practical\, sustained action. \nDo not just celebrate girls for one day. Help build a community where their rights are protected every day. \nTo explore partnership and sponsorship opportunities\, visit www.mukurushujaa.org and connect with Mukuru Shujaa.
